My most compelling assignment of the first semester was ‘Fluid Form’, which focuses on the “slow curve” juxtaposed with the straight line or edge.

PROCESS:
For the model I sharply folded paper creating crisp edges and agitated them to generate soft ‘fluff’ effect. Needle holes on the inside of the slates create texture. The drawing is a sketch on ripped masking tape. I taped masking tape to paper, then sketched onto it. Water colour backing behind drawings define details.
